Leave it to Google change the search game … again. Last week, the search giant announced another alteration to their search algorithm. It’s called Hummingbird and, like the Panda update several years ago, this one will keep anyone trying to reach an audience through inbound marketing strategies, on their toes.
Here are the high level details:
Google is working to encrypt all keyword searches. This means anyone … whether they are logged into their account or not.
This means marketers won’t be able to get keyword data for searches conducted by users who aren’t even signed on.
Of course, there’s more to this roll-out than meets the eye. Some of which, even the most experienced marketers are still trying to figure out. So when it comes to inbound and outbound marketing, we always turn to one of the industry’s most trusted voices – Hubspot.
In this recent blog post, their search experts outline the details and potential implications of Google’s Hummingbird update for bloggers and marketers.
If you’re passionate about blogging, keywords and developing content that attracts people to your Website, then this blog post will be easy to read. If you’re not up-to-speed on all-things SEO and outsource it to a trusty tech genius, make sure they know about this important update.
